“Tell him first to ask her boyfriend’s name”, said Madhu while lighting it, after looking around for any department professors.

“Madhu, don’t you think you are commiting suicide in installments. When will you get rid of this damn habit?”, I asked him with care.

“Well, that last installment will not happen before I see you getting mad running behind her” he continued,”Raj, I ask you again. How far will it continue? should you really..”

“I don’t know”, I said.

“It took more than a month for you to just find out her department & name. I feel you should..”

“I still have more than 2 yrs in this college”, I interrupted again, but with a smile wrapped with confidence

“But what if..”

“I simply don’t care about anything else at the moment”

“Madhu, I have seen a many. They just don’t listen to anyone at this stage. Lets not make any comment. It only irritates him. ” said Joesph. Turning towards me, he continued “But, Raj, when you confine yourself to such things, you will soon be a victim of emotional bindings. You will never get to realize what the world has in store for you to offer. If you have the will, I show you the way – to other departments”, he smiled victoriously as if he had just preached me the Holy Bible.

“Joesph, thanks. But will you please stop your philosophy here?”, I tried hard to invite some anger.

Because it had not always been so easy when the person infront was Joesph.

“Guys, I ‘ll call you both tonight. I need to catch my bus”. Madhu rushed to catch that 8.30 bus which would go to his college.
