I never knew until today that they had a training school for heavy equipment operators until I came across Associated Training Services (ATS). Now that IS nice. That’s real specialized training for people who are interested in looking for a job in the heavy equipments/machinery industries.

Associated Training Services (ATS) offers heavy equipment operator training on a variety of heavy equipment and construction related trucking. This includes backhoe training, bulldozer training, excavator training and front-end loader training and much more.

ATS’ heavy equipment operator training focuses on the hands-on, skills training aspects of heavy equipment operation. They’ve been around training on heavy equipment operations over 16 years their training organization has been in operation for over 40 years. Associated Training Services is probably one of your best bets to an exciting and rewarding career in the heavy equipment operator industry.

The additional perks in ATS’ training program are that you get a National Certification from National Center of Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and their job placement help. So what more do you need? You get certified and also get placed. Now that’s a nice career step I suppose.

The Heavy Equipment Operator School offers 3 levels of courses with level III being the most advanced. I believe the courses are short and judging by ATS course schedule just takes a few days spread over 2 or 3 months to finish a course. The best thing to do is of course to contact ATS direct or use their Live Chat Help to find out more details.

ATS has heavy equipment operator schools in Wisconsin (1963), Florida (2002), New Hampshire (2004), Ohio (2003), Virginia (2005), Colorado (2006), South Carolina (2006), California (2007) and coming soon Texas, Arizona. They also have some financing options including career loans to start you on the training program and support yourself during the course.
