Chinese Good Luck Charm – King Cobra

Now thats a good one. Even though I don’t like the King cobra to have been killed.

“In Asia, but also in other continents, are always people using the most exotic, but also less exotic animals and parts of it to stay healthy, potent and to get luck. Especially China is known for the use and consumption of everything what moves and lives in the animal-world. But although certain Chinese medical knowledge is famous and worth trying I have never seen proves of very, very old Chinese people who are extremely healthy, who are copulating very frequent and who are very lucky. But who am I? I am certainly not a specialist in this matter but I can see only the cruelties and unnecessarily killing, and oft causing extinguishing of entire kinds of animals.

Yesterday our restaurant celebrated the third year of existence under the specific name and amongst some presents we found a bottle containing a King Cobra biting another kind of snake. The bottle was furthermore filled with some herbs and alcohol. We are not very happy with such expressions of good wishes: drinking the alcohol should bring us health and luck……. Anyway, the gesture was a nice one!”
