Ok. I think I confused the title but I am not going to change it.

Friday. Morning flight to Mumbai for a business meeting. Went by bike. Anoop and I. Interesting things numbered below.

1) Rain. Managed to stay dry until BEML road. Twice we were splashed with dirty, muddy water by two MF’s in Sumos. So we were dripping wet when we reached the airport.

2) Entered the airport only to discover that I had the Swiss Army Knife in my pocket. Oh my God!!! Panic!!! Of course, confiscated by security. But we managed to get it back through an Indigo Stewardess who said will be available at the reservation counter anytime for me when I come back to Bangalore.

3) Oh my God!!! I had the zippo lighter in my pocket. Escaped by putting it in my laptop bag. Anoop’s advice.

4) Meeting over at Mumbai too soon (4:00 PM). Thought of going to Marine Drive. But Ganesh Chathurthy the next day. So it was a risk I did not want to take and miss my flight back at 10:20 PM.

5) Called my Aunt who works at the airport. Number”temporarily disconnected”. Oops!!! Now what do I do for 6 hours? Called Mom and was told my Aunt lost her mobile a week ago. Fantastic. Anwin’s luck runs true to form.

6) Asked at a nearby restaurant for the nearest book store and was advised to try the railway station. So went there and bought two books.

7) Sat at a nearby restaurant and read a book for four hours and had dinner.
8) Got the flight back. Reached Bangalore and went to the Indigo reservation counter to get my knife back. It was CLOSED!!!

9) Anyways, got the bike and reached home safely.

But I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. My first flight experience was awesome. Especially the return flight from Mumbai airport was bloody exciting with flights seeming flying around in random at night. And the night lights!!! Bliss!!!
