Couple of days prior to that they had killed two fishermen (with their arrows) who were fishing in the region illegaly. The copter went there to retrive the bodies, but apparently they could not. The bodies till date haven't been recovered. One must commend the police and Indian cost gaurd for resisting the pressure of doing so and leaving the tribe alone.
