If I showed you this picture without the caption what will you think? I honestly had only one thought in my mind. Damn!
The above was the feature picture in the back of today’s edition of The Hindu. The picture looks as if Amitabh, Aishwarya and Abishek Bachchan are showing ‘a’ finger at the camera and it happens to be the middle finger where all three have seem to have got their voting marks.
Hmmm… interesting. I swear I checked other pictures in The Hindu today where everybody else got their voting marks on their index fingers. If you doubt me go check The Hindu dated May 01, 2009, Bangalore edition (I am not sure about the other States).
Or is this a ‘cool’ statement? I mean, like, ‘yoo hoo, power to the people’ and then show the fingers symbolising something? Or is it too much conspiracy theory?

Can we say Photoshop? I can’t imagine ANY politician who wants to keep their career giving the finger to a bank of cameras. Musicians, yeah. They thrive on being seen as anti-establishment and rebels. Not politicians nor their wives/husbands. Just wouldn’t happen. Occam’s Razor.

Molly, it is definitely not photoshop. All the Indian newspapers had this picture and one newspaper had the whole series of pictures where Aishwayra actually realizes the mistake and shows all her fingers in the next series of pictures… hehehe. And so does Amitabh while Abhishek doesn’t seem to care, at least from the pictures

HEHE..yeah it was damn funny ..I and my friends had this same discussion…i mean why only middle finger??if any foreigner sees it..and doesn’t know that they are flaunting their voting marks then …lol i cant imagine what he might think of the big B…on the contrary…SRK,Amir,priya dutt all showed their all fingers becos their middle fingers were stained..LOL..that is decency..
PS: the comment box is too light coloured..pls do something..the border of the text box is so light that i struggled to find the right place to comment…yupp im exaggerating a bit…but yeah you can definitely do something..please
