Yeah, I am a great fish lover, albeit a lazy. So I am more fond of betta splendens rather than planted tanks because of low maintenance :). The worst that could happen is that they will starve. But death is mostly rare as long as you did a proper water change before leaving. Reading you, I so wanna get one soon! Hey,nice to know that there is actually a Aquarist Soceity. hehe. And look at that pic where ppl are standing so obedient,respectful around the fish tank.hehehe.
