Freedom Jam is back, but not with a great bang as it was some years ago 
I remember a time when we used to party from 6 in the evening of Independance day till 6 in the morning on Independance day. And it used to happen at The Club on the outskirts of Bangalore city. There used to be so many bands playing all the time and it was no doubt the woodstock of Bangalore.
However, these days we have to settle down for a small but still energizing concert at Alliance Francaise. The festival is presented by Bharat Mata Nach Kud Baja, who started the Freedom Jam concept. As usual, the concert is free and the bands play for free.
Bangaloreans, I will be there today after 4 PM. Will you?

The larger version of Freedom jam 2009, is happening this sunday at Clarks Exotica Bangalore, from 12 noon till 9 p.m. its a huge venue, with lots of bands putting their original comps together. http://www.clarksexotica.com.
