Ah... who knew that Bruce Dickinson (the mad bugger who wants to do everything on earth before he dies) is also a screenplay writer? Hmm? Apparently, he has co-written for the movie Chemical Wedding and is due for a release this May 30th in the UK. I believe the movie is being produced by the legendary Heavy Metal band (my own personal favorite band of all time) Iron Maiden.And guess who the movie is all about - its none other than Aleister Crowley. Almost a year ago I was one of the most fortunates to watch Iron Maiden in full concert in Bangalore.
I just can't believe that its been less than a year and Iron Maiden came to India again! Wow! And to top it all, they started their Somewhere Back in Time World Tour 2008 with India as the first concert. Amazing. Thanks guys. You guys seriously made mine and my friends and so many other fans in India happy.

As I understand Sepultura were trying to come to India for some time now. At last they seem to have confirmed their tour to India. The metal scene in India, which was never really down, is getting a face lift with the number of mainstream Rock/Metal acts wanting to come down for a concert. The biggest help was of course Iron Maiden coming down to India. And their revisit in 2008. And they all want to Rock in Bangalore.

Wow, thats the best news I've heard in a long time. It was a bloody blast to watch Iron Maiden play live in India earlier this year. Earlier post - here. And related posts - here.
The tour is aptly named Somewhere Back in Time World Tour '08. Well, well, well. And the songs they will be playing should be from these albums -Iron Maiden, Killers, The Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, Powerslave, Somewhere in Time, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.
