Poor guys, they seem to have got some bug or something. It has been a sad week with 5 big cats dying in the past week at Bangalore's Bannerghatta National Park or Biological Park. Two of them were old Bengal tigers and a White Tiger who, officials say, has died of an almost 3 months battle with kidney disease. And another, a cub which probably died of salmonella and E.coli. Really really sad.

Normally we all meet up in Nagercoil during Christmas – we, the chows, friends from school. We do this reverently every year. Of course, it is very difficult for all 7 of us to be present every Christmas. We do, however, make up to 5 of us most times. And this time was not different. Anyways, I am going too fast. My biggest mistake - no warm clothes and it was nearing winter in Srinagar. Brrr... I suffered all day until I could manage to buy a sweater, courtesy a friend there. But it was a bit late. I shivered all night due to fever from exposure.I went through the next two days in a daze, but got all my work done. It was worth the trip.

Last week I was in Wayanad for a meeting. It was such a beautiful place that I was kicking myself all day that I had forgotten my trusted camera. Damn! Anyway, I did manage to take some picture from my mobile which are okay I suppose. Not great, but okay. This was a view of the Oriental School of Hotel Management from Greeshmam resorts, where I was staying for the day. The college looked like a castle from behind, hehehehe. ...
