Wide N Straight Handlebars For My Enfield Bullet Standard

Got a chance to change the handlebars on my 1986 Enfield Standard. I was very nervous after buying the handle at JC Road. It was big and wide and I had no visualization of how it would look on the bike.

Anyway, all my fears turned out to be groundless since the bike handles beautifully well.

A Photo And A Cartoon

3-4 of years ago, a friend in IBM took a photo of mine to his friend. This guy did a free style cartoon of the picture I had given using a ball point pen. I had gifted that to Nafisa, which I saw again a few days back, prompting me to blog about it.

This guy is really really good :) (not necessarily me, but the guy who painted… hehehe).

And the original below.

Beach Babes, Funny Pic

Caption for this picture in a newspaper a few days back:

“BEACH BABES: Model Pia Trivedi gets her workout playing volleyball and (right) Candice Pinto”

And the picture of the whole article for an overview.

Is my mind really crooked or can others see the flipside too?

The Heat is definitely On!

7 Cat Species Found In Assam In One Forest

I didn’t know that we had so many cat species in India until today. Apparently, National Geographic reports, 7 different cat species were photographed in the same rain forest the Jeypore-Dehing in Assam. That piqued my interest – the number of cat species found.

According to http://www.wildlifeindia.co.uk/ there are 13 species of cats in which includes the Tiger, Lion, Leopard, Jungle Cat, Marbled Cat, Leopard Cat, Snow Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Golden Cat, Desert Cat, Lynx, Caracal and the Pallas Cat.

Link through Neatorama.

Disclaimer: I took the screenshot of the cat so quality of picture not great.

A Red Dragon Hmpk Betta Picture

No, that’s not latin :)

It just means – a betta plakat (PK) fish (siamese fighting gish) with a pattern on its body called ‘red dragon’ and with finnage of a halfmoon (HM) (a circle cut in half?).

I am bad at explaining, so here’s a handy link to the Wikipedia page on bettas and their fin types – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siamese_fighting_fish#Tail_shapes.

That’s a ‘Red Dragon’ pattern – a visible layer of white on the body with red fins.

In the above picture the betta shows his tail fin which has straight edges and a 180 degree spread. Hence the name, halfmoon – HM.

And the below picture, just to show the betta’s body in detail.

The above pictures are all of the bugger who is the star of my lot of fishes.
