At last. At last. At last.
I have been playing Diablo 2 for about 9-10 years now and I have never played in nightmare level. Until now. These last few months I have been playing on and off with an Assassin character in nightmare level. It was tough in the beginning and then irritating at times as the game progresses. Why irritating? Because, if you are not careful your character will die and you will lose experience points. That’s why? Why losing experience points is bad? Because your level ups will take more time. Simple!!!
Anyways, I did the job with the following equipment and character:
- Level: 67
- Strength: 172
- Dexterity: 191
- Vitality: 93
- Mana: 26
- Attack Damage: 211-529
- Attack Rating: 1248
- Life: 490
Weapon: Cruel Scissors Katar of Storms – Magic Item:
- One-Hand Damage: 32 to 60
- Adds 5-59 Lightning Damage
Armor: Gemmed Full Plate Mail – ‘OrtRal’ – 3 socketed:
- Defense: 154
- Lightning Resist: 30%
- Fire Resist: 30%
- 24% Better Chance of getting Magic Items
Gauntlets – Eagle Claw – Rare Item:
- +6 To Strength
- +7 To Dexterity
- Replenish Life +3
- Lightning Resist +17%
- Fire Resist +7%
Cobalt Plated Belt of Spikes – Magic Item: (Wish I had a better belt)
- Cold Resist: +30%
- Attacker Takes Damage of 5
Nafisa’s Naj’s Circlet – Personalized Set Item and socketed by Larzuk in Act 5 Nightmare:
- Defense: 105
- 12% Chance To Cast Level 5 Chain Lightning When Struck
- Adds 25-35 Fire Damage
- +15 To Strength
- 24% Better Chance Of Getting Magic Items
Stormguild – Large Shield – Unique Item:
- Defense: 53
- 30% Increased Chance Of Blocking
- Adds 1-6 Lightning Damage
- Lightning Resist: +25%
- Attacker Takes Lightning Damage Of 3
Crimson Amulet of Perfection – Magic Item:
- +17 To Dexterity
- Fire Resist: +7%
Beast Circle – Ring – Rare Item:
- +15 To Attack Rating
- +23 To Mana
- Cold Resist +30%
- 9% Better Chance Of Getting Magic Items
Skull Finger – Ring – Rare Item:
- +1 To Maximum Damage
- +10 To Attack Rating
- 3% Mana Stolen Per Hit
- Lightning Resist +17%
- Fire Resist +15%
And now I am in Hell level, which I have never ever even attempted playing. Here I come Diablo and Baal. Die by my hands.

Man, I have been waiting for Diablo III for years and year now and I missed the day it was officially announed as on the way? Damn damn and damn it all to hell and back.
From Blizzard.com, the following piece:
Twenty years have passed since the cataclysmic events of Diablo® II. Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal have been defeated, but the Worldstone, which once shielded the world of Sanctuary from the forces of both the High Heavens and the Burning Hells, has been destroyed, and evil once again stirs in Tristram….
Some of the site’s highlights include:
Visit the new Diablo III website now to learn more about the game, and make sure to check out the official FAQ and the announcement press release.

My long time ambition came true last Sunday. To play paintball!!!
Read more at Naveen’s blog.
The reason I didn’t blog was that I was waiting for the pictures from Renie’s camera. A sample pic below.
He he he. That is me!!! More awesome pictures at Naveen’s flickr Paintball set.
We all enjoyed it a lot(Siva, Naveen, Anoop, Karthik, Pochi, Renie, Sanjeeb, Nafisa, Jackie and Martin. Martin was the Rambo and he single handedly paved way for victory two out of three games. And the fourth game, which was last man standing, he won. Of course!!!
Until next time, dear diary.

Adding more fuel to the fire that has been going on for some months now there is more news about the much-awaited-dont-know-if-true Diablo 3, the PC game.
“Now, the rumor forge is heating up again, thanks to an interview with Richard A. Knaak, author of three Diablo-based books–Diablo: Legacy of Blood (2001), Diablo: The Kingdom of Shadow (2002), and Diablo: Moon of the Spider (2006).
To promote his forthcoming Diablo book, Diablo: The Sin War: Book One: Birthright, Knaak spoke with Blizzplanet.com and took questions from its readers. However, the biggest bomb came from a site staffer going by the handle “Medievaldragon,” who casually asked if his latest book–the first of a trilogy–would “impact in the storyline of Diablo 3 the game.”
Read more at these sites. Gamespot, PC-News.
And keep checking Blizzard Entertainment, the makers of Diablo, Diablo II, Starfcraft, Warcraft etc, for any news on this undisclosed PC Project.

I am not the greatest fan of Age of Empires. But I have a real fascination for this game and was quite happy to know that AOE 3 has been released. It features some new concepts where we can raise a city and as you play more games you get more points and get to unlock more units etc…
Check it out Here
